" Organized between the dates October 23 – 26, at CNR EXPO, in Istanbul, MEDIST 2008 was a huge success, especially in terms of the worldwide interest it generates particularly in the healthcare services field as MEDIST has become well-established as the market’s central trading platform for medical products, laboratory and hospital equipment. More than 300 exhibitors from almost 15 countries displayed the entire spectrum of supplies and services needed for specialized areas of medicine and healthcare management.
Within the “Hosted Buyer Program”, 800 professional medical device and hospital equipment purchasers were hosted by CNR EXPO. Supported by the Undersecretariat of Prime Ministry of Foreign Trade / Turkey, 90 professionals visited the show within the Trade Mission Program. The represented countries were Germany, the USA, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, the UAE, Bulgaria, Algeria, Czech Republic, China, Denmark, Morocco, France, South Africa, Georgia, India, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, the UK, Spain, Italy, Japan, Canada, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Uzbekistan, and Israel.
